I should have left the heating on when I went out. It was frosty then, it's well below zero now. I came home about 2:30, after the pub, then the after-pub indoor smokeathon with someone else's whisky, and even with all that antifreeze in me I was afeared for my brass monkey bits on the way back. The feeling is back in them now, fortunately.

Okay, it's November and at this time of year it's normally cold here but if this is the start of winter for this year it's going to be nasty. All those coal-fired power stations the Al Gore Borg intend to attack should be defended with tanks and flamethrowers and no questions asked, or the swine flu deaths are going to be as nothing compared to the hypothermia to come. Global warming is not happening. The 'underlying warming trend' of the last 20 years has not actually happened at all for the last 10 and has been reversed in the last three. We are being told it's all our fault that the globe is warming when in fact it is not warming at all.

If you look at real geological timescales there is no warming trend. There is a cooling trend. We are not going to bake in the deserts of Surbiton because Surbiton will be under sixty feet of ice. It's all lies.

Doesn't that make you feel all noble and wonderful inside? When you smash up a power station and freeze pensioners to death and stop hospital operations mid-transplant, you can bask n the sure and certain knowledge that Al Gore is making an awful lot of money from your actions.

Oh, but you don't want to hear that. You want to believe you are doing Something Important. That you are Saving the Planet. Well, this is what you are really doing:

You activists are the shrieking hordes who follow their deranged king into war against an imaginary enemy. You know, the words in that paragraph are those of a paranoid egomaniac. People don't need 'a common enemy'. We don't need an enemy at all. You might consider his idea of 'uniting a nation' noble but really, why do we need to be united in such a way? Isn't it enough to live by a shared set of values without always needing to have something to break, something to demolish, someone to kill? What Gory Al wants is war, with himself as general. He does not want 'united', he wants 'command'. He wants you activists to stop all that messy thinking for yourself nonsense and do as he commands. When you storm your next power station, do not think of the pensioner who will freeze, the baby who will have no heat, the child with no light, the householder in fear of the looting mobs. No, think nothing of that. Obey the Goremaster. He is your Lord of Death and your actions will make him wealthy and extend his control.

The world is getting colder. We cannot stop that. The climate will change. We cannot stop that. It is futile to try and arrogant to think that the world cares about us at all. We cannot stem the changes of the planet we live on.

We can only try to survive them. Al Gore is doing his best to ensure we fail. Just to make a buck.

Judas sold Jesus for thirty pieces of silver. How much, per person, is Al Gore charging? I think he's offering a better deal on a bulk purchase, don't you?

The thing is, I don't see where he thinks he's going to spend it all.
